Depends which arches?
If there standard black Rover arches you can get black rivets that look well

I've used black self tappers before but they go rusty looking after a little while, you can replace them though as they screw in,
I used stainless silver self tappers this time and they seem to be holding up quite well, haven't changed one yet!.
I've never used rivets as they are a more permanent fixing and if they start to look bad you have to go drilling them out which if you're not careful can lead to problems
