Will need to get a few bits done on the elf, bumpers and over riders, grille maybe. Anyone have any experience of using chroming in UK? I know here they aren't really around any more so I am thinking will most likely be the UK. Any help is appreciated.

I've used Derby Plating in, you've guessed it, Derby. They say on their website that their reputation is "Expensive, but good", and thats how I found them. They were pricey, but they did an absolutely beautiful job. If you have any pitting on your parts to be chromed, you need to get them plated in copper first, and then that gets polished and nickel plated on top with a thin layer of chrome on top of that. Its called triple plating. The copper is used to fill the pits otherwise you are just plating over pitted metal which is a complete waste of time and money, it looks terrible. A lot of places will quote you a cheaper price, but they will omit the copper plating step. Guess how I found that one out.....
