pilot light colour wire at alternator

i have changed my alternator from original to high output type cannot get pilot light on dash to work has anybody any idea what colour wire goes to rear alt and what is green wire with black tracer for cannot find a home for same

The charge light wire from altenator is brown / yellow.
The charge light has 2 positive feeds brown/yellow from altenator and white from battery.
The Green/Black is the fuel gauge.
Just looked at pics of your car and you seem to have a green wire at the altenator, I suspect this is green/blue for the temperture sender on the head behind the coil.

Would the Aus Minis have a different colour scheme?

As a member of the commonwelth I would doubt it. British motor manufactures agreed a common colour code system many years ago.
