Anyone had this done and would they recommend it? Found a company that do it and finish your car in primer ready for paint in Wexford.

Soda blasting will remove paint but it will not remove rust. You will need to have the rust blasted with an abrasive media in order to get rid of that. You need an experienced operator to sand blast the thin sheet material that a car body is made of if you want to avoid distorting it. If the air pressure is too high when sandblasting, you will get a build up of heat and the panels will distort.
What sort of money are they quoting to blast a Mini bodyshell?

€400 sand. €600 soda. But that includes any holes he welds and includes two coats of primer
