BABY BLUE - 1990 City
Hi, im Pearse and along with my father Derry we have grown a love for minis over the past few years. bought this project about 4 years ago and done bits and bats here and there so finally decided to crack into it and get her finished.
she is a 1000 cc 1990 city with 66k on the clock. engine or a bit was not running when i bought her but took a chance.
on my easter break from college at the moment so working on her every day in the garage, got her running today for the forst time, and have been reassembling her slowly from the remains that i got with her when i bought her. have aquired alot of parts over the years.
took a few pics over the past month or so
schutz her inside the boot and inside the car itself
full colour change she was originally white then purple
recon of brake servo
valeting the seats (before)
after
locks, windows, trim going on
my new doorcards
petrol tank
got her up and running today sweet as a nut

Car is coming along nicely now, She is entered in the MTM which is fast approaching!! more posts to follow
Veneer on the dash was peeling off so stripped it back
All sanded and painted back up
Doing the headlinging bit of a challenge + the new black roof
came across this poor bugger which had been laid to rust stripped what we could

Re: BABY BLUE - 1990 City
Got alot of work done this weekend, finished off the dash, tuned up the carb, fitted all the interior.
fitted the bonnet with stripes
re-assembled the dash
took the mini badge off the scrapped yellow mini city
finished off the wiring
put in the seats
.
.
.
and Finally after 8 years in the making she is done, took her on her first vintage run today
Ready for the MTM2014
