Potential group tyre buy, 165/70 R10's

Post by macker »

just posting this here to alert anyone looking for 10' tyres that I am attempting another group tyre buy,
I have put the feelers out again and should hopefully hear something back by the end of this week,
As normal it will probably require a certain number of tyres are purchased together but until I hear back I will not know this number

As with the last time I did this, I am only looking at Yokohama tyres, both the
A008 and..........

Don't know what the prices are going to be like but r&r tyres in Ballincollig had loads of the 10" A032r in stock and were €50 a tyre last time I asked.

Macker, If the price is good i would take about 6x A008s
Im getting them for 50 at the moment so would need to be less than that.

I have spoken to Jerry and he does have 165/70r10 A032R's which he is doing for €55 per tyre, and he has said that he will do them for €50 per tyre for anyone in the IMOC, which is a very good price!
He can also send them anywhere in the country by courier for around €10 for 2 tyres
He doesn't have any A008's though,

I still haven't heard anything back yet as regards other places but I'm hoping when I do that their prices will be that bit better

Sorry Brian, none
you could try Camskill or Eire tyres though as I saw they were advertised on their sites

Well I've had two replies today and not too good on price I'm afraid, both were coming in at over €60 per tyre with only one being able to supply the A008's,
I'll wait till I get a few more replies and see how we fair

unfortunately it's looking like the A008's are getting very hard to find let alone get a good price on!

at this point in time the best price I have been given is from R&R tyres @ €50 per tyre and these are only the A032R's
Camskill are coming in cheapest for the A008's @ €70 per tyre but this does not take into account any delivery charges which would be around £15 (for 1 tyre) - £30 (for 4 tyres) all in iirc

If anyone else has a definite source and price for either of these tyres that is cheaper please post it up here
