Iv got the mini on my own policy and this year it was 1400 just third party. I asked about fully comp but they wouldnt do full comp on such a old car. If your wondering why im in my own name i did it last year so id start my no claims early and it brought it down by 1000 with one year claims free
Starting fas nxt week for five months will be doing 200+ mile a week so im on the hunt for a different car as the mini will fall apart with 200+ mile a week :? but insurance is gona **** me up

Any tips for me to have two cars on the road at such a young age and not to pay trough the roof

Sorry to hijack the thread but im sticking to the topic

na no tips, i was tryin to insure my two cars on one policy last year but i cudnt, only consolation is the older you get the cheaper it gets :) , last year I had me seat leon insured with aviva and I used to do free temp transfers online onto the mini but they caught on to that and disabled my temp transfer option after about 10 times :(

theres no problem having the mini do 200 mile a week, i'm doin around 250 a week and as long as i'v a spare set of points, a condenser, drop of oil, some tieing wire and cable ties then i'm good to go!

I'm w/Chill, 30 & had to put herself as named driver (I have one year on her insurance which helped) Paying 860. Chill got it thru AXA, so rang them & they wouldnt touch me, figure that out. By Chill are worth a call
