There is a vacuum missing from Studs airbox. On the intake part of the airbox there is like a valve and a nipple comes of that valve which by the looks of things, a vacuum is meant to be connected to. Took the air box off to see if we could find another nipple in for it to lead to but then realised that underneath the airbox there are also two nipples which look to be missing vacuums also.
Can anyone help me with this matter? I'v been so busy with work I haven't had a chance in the daylight to take photos of what I'm talking about but the Studs really a bit rough when hes cold and I want to try and get it sorted a.s.a.p.
Hopefully someone can help me so I can eliminate this of my list!

Re: S.P.I vacuums
The vacumn pipes control the hot air intake .The nipple on its own is the air diverter and the two nipples is the stat. Should be a pipe from the diverter to the stat and another from the stat to the manifold..

Sound Woody, and would you be able to tell me what the effects of missing these vacuums may cause?woody wrote:The vacumn pipes control the hot air intake .The nipple on its own is the air diverter and the two nipples is the stat. Quicker engine warmup and if the vacumn pipe is open it may be running lean

Re: S.P.I vacuums
Think the vaccum pipe goes from the air intake to under the air box to 1 nipple,
and from the other nipple to behind the throttle body,
then from the other nipple behind the throttle body to the map sensor.. from what i can remember
