Curious about my engine

I recently had my mini in the garage for a few small jobs (focus the lights, tracking, etc.) when the mechanic started asking about my engine. Its a 1992 Austin Cooper 1.3 injection. He doubts that mini's came out with all the electrics such as ECU and all the sensors to go with it at that year. I looked into it and cant really find any accurate information. Did mini's come out with all these electrics or was my engine possibly changed at some time?

The SPi or Single Point injection was launched in late 1990 with the mainstream Cooper so your car should have an ECU and various sensors to make it run. Here is a helpful time line of Mini production

Much appreciated thanks. What is the average market value for one of these fully restored? Tested for 6 months, 4 new tyres, refurbished alloys etc.. http://www.irishminis.ie/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=7947

Lower spec mini had the carb until '95 but the higher spec Cooper got injection in '92 as far as I know.
Average market at the moment is a hole in the ground, if you can dig up a buyer find out what hes willing to pay, chances are its a lot less than your hoping :(

That what i was thinking :( not looking to sell for awhile was just wondering what there making roughly. Are they worth more than non-injection mini's of the same year?
