welder

want to get a welder to start to learn how to weld
will be self thought as the courses are something like 250
would be used for panels it the far far far future
something in the price range anything up to 350 ? if thats possible
not sure to be looking at MIG or TIG so please educate me :)

I started with something like this, plenty enough to weld car panels. you need a mask as well so budget for that. these use small 2l bottle of welding gas at about 15e each. you ll need a valve for the top of that bottle and a regulator. you wont be long spending 500 euro. Buy the best you can if makes all the difference

MIG is generally better for general car repairs and easier to learn. Buy the best machine you can afford. As for gas, I would use the Hobbyweld cylinders where you don't have to pay rental, just pay for the gas when you need a refill. I have no idea who's the agent for them in your area. The small disposable cylinders work out real expensive if you have any significant amount of welding to do. I personally wouldn't bother with a gasless Mig setup, the wire is expensive and you can't seem to get a tidy looking weld. Been there, done that, and bought a gas fed machine afterwards.
