Few bits done! Gear shift shortens so I can reach it and short shifter extended
Indicators on, headlights in! Grill painted and on everything connected up and
Working fine! Just air filter and bonnet an windscreen need
Few more bits will be done tonight as I'm off work
Cheers and enjoy

yep they look flat alright but the light pattern when you turn them on looks like it will be all over the place, purplehaze wrote:No dude there flat :/ they bang on
the lines that run through the glass lens should all run vertical but they look to be off

Re: My monster b16 dohc vtec mini project small update 16/2/
just get an old worn belt that is too long and cut it to the size you need (make sure the alternator is in all the way on the adjustment), then bring it to a motorfactors and ask can they get a belt that is the same size or very slightly bigger, you don't want to go smaller

Re: My monster b16 dohc vtec mini project small update 16/2/
Needless to say the mtm took its toll on the poor mini but my package arrived from mini spares, new ball joints and wheel bearings, then she's back on the road for some good oul thrashing I was chuffed it made it around Ireland but was worried when I got home but thank god it was only wheel bearings, few mods to be done and it'll be done, hav holiday booked for a week in salou but after that its getting a steel front and few performance upgrades, ecu rear discs, carbons bits, ect...gonna be costly but my baby is worth it so keep an eye on progress peeps

Re: B16 mini rebuild time
So the minis been Lying up for few months due to a problem :/ brakes!!!!!
Go rid of the servo ! Bled them and in the process burst a brake pipe ! One if the braided hoses was twisted and kinked so it let go!!! Ordered new ones an got em a while ago
Ripped the monster stickers off and start stripping the car get it ready for paint
Got carbon arches an boot lid that need work so will be sprayed gloss black same as roof
Loads of work to do but will keep updated

Re: B16 mini rebuild time
Actually you can buy any alternator belt size you want. You might have to buy them online though. 742 should be easy to get. Are they 5pk's ( 5 grooves )

Re: B16 mini rebuild time
Sorry that was meant to be 745.
Generally intervals in 5 are easy to get.
