Re: Wheel bearings
today i went at it and they did seem very easy to loosen so i got a 3 meter 2" gun barrel pipe and turned it until the car started lifting of the axel stands
was using unistrut interlocking on the wheels studs and bent it every way lol ending up using a large adjustable spanner and didn't bend that
and after a few miles i hear no sounds and theres no movement in the wheels so i think result

Re: Wheel bearings
You need to use a torque wrench on this job to do it correctly and give yourself peace of mind.

Re: Wheel bearings
My torque wrench doesn't go to 200lbs
I find 3 grunts just about right.

Re: Wheel bearings
Aldi have torque wrenches this week, don't know what rating though.
