new to club

Post by GSmall »

Hey Guys, Grainne here. New to the Club, I just bought my first mini an 81 Austin Auto. Still all original, very low mileage (found out later may be due to a broken speedo ha ha) Still deciding if I will keep it origianl or bling it up a bit. Currently in hospital (Ray Cunningham) having a bit of work done, as driving for more than five five minutes without losing power is not its strong point.
Let me know what ye think, all advice is greatly appreciated

Had it changed onto the Old Irish plates €200 because its vintage, the car is in good condition to look at, just to get in running well. Cant wait to bring it out for a good spin

Grainne welcome to the club. In relation to your car, only you can decide what look you want for your car. If your anything like me you will be changing something every week. Best idea is to look through photos on here or other mini sites and decide what you like. Good luck with choosing

Nice original Mini you have there Grainne, maybe a set of 4.5" Minilites would be nice and still no need for arches.I have a 75 Clubman estate auto and they are quite fun to drive though mine is a little thristy.
Real Clubmans have a square nose.Seriously.
