I got my Mini's emmisions sorted at Nolans in Newtownforbes. They are a DOE test centre and its run by a guy who used to manage the NCT centre in Longford. What are your other "minor" problems ?
A fully carbon fiber Mini Marcos shell weighs just 7.25kg.
Some rust on a door pillar and a sill and some small rust bubbles. One NCT inspector reckons there should be a Catalytic converter and another thinks not. Is a Cat a requirement on a 94 car?
I think the Cat has been on Minis since 1992, Ger might have a more definative answer.
If the car was made with a cat and someone removed it, then it has to be put back on for the test.
