SRS Light and NCT

Hi all, I'm in for NCT tomorrow and the SRS light is on in my car (1998 MPI Cooper) My local garage hasnt got the software to turn it off, Is there any way of doing it myself, or is there anywhere in Meath/Dublin that could do it for me?

I was thinking that, will it pass the nct? I've all the pugs disconnected along with the battery and I just cant get the plug out of the airbag ecu. I have them all sprayed with contact cleaner as the car was lying up for years.
Any ideas how to remove the plug?

If you remove the bulb it will fail,the system tests its self and if everything is ok the light will go out,if theres a problem it will stay on

I'm having the same problem, NCT on thursday. The light was staying on yesterday but its back to normal today.

You can only reset/turn light off if the fault is cleared. Reading the ecu should tell you what the fault is so you can fix it.

Thanks lads, went over to the chaps in Minifix and they steered me in the right direction
Sound men and only 15mins up the road! Got some advice and tips off them too,
