Hi lads,

New here. Just put a deposit on a 1996 cooper, body in pretty good condition with little rust, just the odd patch of surface rust, although it does need a re spray. Just wondering if this year of car has a specific model name? It comes with full leather seats and walnut dash and aerial on the wing if that's any help.

Cheers..

If it's from 96 it could be a Cooper 35, Almond green with a white roof, green leather interior.

If you throw up a photo it would help.

They changed from single point to twin point in October 96.
Is the radiator side or front mounted?
Does it have air con? It could be a Japanese model.

It was an anniversary year, so could well be a special edition.
The rad is in the right hand side?
I'm picking it up tomorrow so will upload pics then.

The seats are black and full leather.

Lots of service history which includes original receipt from cooper garage in the uk. Think I've found a gem, fingers crossed anyway..
