I just want to let everyone know that I am organising a track day for Sunday 2nd September.
The track will be closed to everyone else on the morning.
This event takes place at Kiltorcan raceway karting circuit just outside Thomastown.

I attended the one that Billy organised earlier in the year and loved it.
I hope this event will match the fun had by all at that event.

The cost will be €30 per car. only thing is this place has no kitchen so you may bring a packed lunch
Open to all signed up members and non-members will be able to sign up that morning if required.
I hope that you will have a chance for lots of laps.



I willl begin a list in about a month as there is a lot of interest.
This will suit both Southern and Eastern members.

Ger for members only, he can join that morning. The relevant paper work will be available. Don't forget to inform him of camping weekend coming up too

The reason its members only is (hopefully) to prevent some unknown lunatic showing up in an old banger and possably damaging someone elses car. Its not racing but sometimes cars get close and its nice to know whos on track with you and you can trust them not to do something stupid. I sure with a 2000 Cooper Oliver would appreciate this precaution.

As for the lunatics we do know just give them plenty of space

hi all oliver owens the peugeot and rover garage in wexford i have some membership froms will call out with one on tuesday they also have a ahydrolastic pump if any heeds work done on there car thanks

Very sorry to hear this, but once again fair play for sticking your neck out and trying to organise one of these events.

Looks like theres only enough interest in the club for one trackday a year.

I agree with Woody. Perhaps this will be the single track day the club runs in 2013. No reason why we shouldn't have a choice of venues around the country.

I doubt I'll be going back to this track after cancelling. Ah sure cork is not that far and half the fun was the drive down and back.
