Anyone have any experience with roof repairs. I came out of Dunnes last night to find my roof and bonnet flattened......was only in the store 20 minutes. Security have the incident on very clear cctv and pictures of the damage done and suspect.

I managed to push the roof out some bit and will take out the headlining to get at the rest. I dont want to go filling the roof so has anyone any ideas. It doesnt look too bad now, just 4 or 5 creases that wont pop out.

I was looking at those "paintless" dent repair places......and the Gardai suggested a place out towards Listowel......anyone deal with this type of repair before.

The cheek of the little scumbags!!.

Ya, get a paint-less dent specialist to look at it.
I wouldn't take out the roof cloth though untill you get it looked at. Depending on how bad and where the dents are located there might not be a need to remove it. With the rods and hooks used, they should be able to get to the under side of the roof skin without disturbing the cloth much. They might use something like a hook off the roof gutter as a leverage point for the rods, so would only need to take down the cloth over the door frame. Re fitting a roof cloth can be as big a job as taking out the dents :) .

Just out of interest what colour is the roof?
White hides a lot and any remaining little blemishes won't really be noticed, where as black and darker colours show up every thing :( .
