Hi folks,

Every year the IMOC takes a stand at the Charleville Show and we usually have about 25 Minis on display. This is the Southern Region's biggest event each year and we are hoping that 2012 will be as successful as previous years. I have reserved a spot for the club. As usual, we will have the club gazebo on site and you're welcome to bring a picnic and deck chairs along on the day. Minis from all over Ireland are welcome.

We will meet up at 10am at the Corbett Court restaurant about 2 miles south of Charleville to get all the cars together before we convoy in to the showgrounds.

A text and e-mail will be sent out to all paid-up members. You can pay your 2012 membership on the day as I will have forms with me.

For more info on the Charleville Show which is a great family day out (last year we came home with 2 goldfish), here is the official show website: http://www.charlevilleshow.com/

Big push to get the numbers out for the Charleville Show.

Be sure to bring the kids as there will be plenty to see and do.

FYI, there's a problem with the club's text service at the moment so please let anyone you know who doesn't use this forum know about the Show.

Thanks,

Billy

Everyone who brings their Mini to Charleville gets in free.

This isn't Leinster, you know.
We appreciate that if the vehicle owners didn't come, there would be no display.

And.... you'll get a free cuppa, sambo, and plaque!!!!

Thanks to everyone who turned up for yesterday's Charleville especially our fellow club members who travelled from Leinster to support the IMOC stand.

Thanks to Darran, Tony, Eamonn, and Johnny Walsh for getting up early on Sunday morning to get the gazebo set up and our patch marked out. Thanks to Eamonn who was our catering manager on the day.

With the recent bad weather, getting into the field was tricky but the organisers were well prepared and everyone got in with minimum delay. A special word of appreciation to the Charleville Show organisers who came around to each club stand and thanked us all for coming along. The free cuppa, sambo, and plaque were no myth and the organisers are to be thanked for their generosity.

Our treasurer Liam Cotter welcomed many new members and renewals who paid their club membership on the day.

The Charleville Show is the highlight each year for the Southern Region and it was great to see 25 Minis on display yesterday. We would be delighted if more members came out to our other local events during the year as the club really is a great way to meet fellow enthusiasts, get technical advice, and even source a few bits to keep your Mini on the road.

Our next Southern Region get together is the Rathfredagh Cheshire Home Garden Fete just outside Newcastlewest, Co. Limerick this coming Sunday July 1st.

Thanks again,

Billy
