Timetable Guide for MTM2012

** Friday 18th May.

- 5 pm: MTM2012 Team in place to meet crews arriving in Mc Grorys of Culdaff,Co Donegal.

- 7 pm: Drivers Sign-On and hand out of event packs at Mc Grorys.

- 8 pm: Drivers Briefing Meeting & Official Launch of MTM2012.

** Saturday 19th May:

- 5am: Malin Head - Route books will be handed out & the first cars will depart from 6am.

- 6.45am: Breakfast stop - Location will be identified in the route book .

- 12:30pm: Cars start to arrive at the Midpoint Halt for lunch - All cars must check in at the Control Car. The location will be marked in the route book.

- 1.30pm: First cars depart lunch stop - the second route book will be handed out .

- 7.30pm: First cars arrive at Mizen Head and then back to the Barleycove Beach Hotel for the evening meal and a good nights craic.

** Sunday 20th May:

- 11.00am:Finishers awards ceremony will take place downstairs in the Barleycove Beach Hotel function room.

As you may have noticed we had done away with the evening meal stop prior to getting to the finish in order to get entrants to the finish in daylight as it has been the case over the last couple of MTMs that people are getting back to the hotel very late.

*** Entrants should also note that the Barleycove Beach Hotel will finish serving meals at 10pm ***
(There is no guarantee that you will get food later than this)

We have timed the route and feel that everyone should be there before this and all that is needed is a steady pace.

Both Glennons finished despite Micks attempts to kill his mini firstly 4 miles short of breakfast stop shearing 3 wheel studs which we fixed at side of road. Then got to lunch stop and filled his clubby with Diesel. (wishfull thinking i guess).

Only car not finished under its own power was a Hornet that did the last 40 miles on the back of my truck.

We did another quick lunch stop headgasket job this time on Ciaran Fitzpatricks 89 Mini 30 Automatic.
