I have a mini that has been convert to a 1275 turbo. The shell is a 92 and the engine is from a 86 turbo metro and has just been rebuilt. i'm going traveling in the next wee while and i'll be selling her off, the thing is im not too sure what price to ask for. i know turbo minis are rare but does anyone have any suggestion on how i should price it or could point me in the right direction.
Cheers,
Eoghan

Eoghan,
You are really going to have to decide a price yourself and post a proper For Sale ad in line with the club policy. Otherwise this thread will turn into a bidding session and may be deleted.
My advice is to study Ebay and see what similar cars are making.

It's a 92 1275 mini. Putting a turbo engine in does not boost the price up any high percentage. It's a matter of taste mate. If its a mint 92 1275 with nct n tax then 2 t 3 grand depending on condition... but id wreckin 3500 is a good asking price for the car if its really clean and running great.... Post pics with a price tag or see if anyone is interested 1st ok. Hope dat helps

A turbo (or any) conversion is only as good as the person that did it ,doubt if anyone would give me a grand for mine
, so you would need to post loads of pics and specification. Since I havn't heard of this car before I would suspect its a UK import which would proberbly effect body condition. Was the car originally carb or injected as this would determine emmissions for the NCT which could be a bother with the turbo.Does it have an NCT?.
You could put up a for sale add at the price you paid for it with full spec and loads of photos and people will then tell you what they think its worth and you can drop the price. Classic prices are still falling so you proberbly will get less then you paid.
