Draining all water

Whats the best way to empty all the water in my mini. I want to replace it with coolant?

The bottom hose on the rad but make sure your clip is good when puting it back on cause its not easy to get at

Undo the bottom hose of the radiator, not easy to get to but the best way all the same

If you have a proper hose clip tool it makes all the difference when removing and replacing the bottom hose clip.This is the type I have and it is really a must have tool.

I don't have that tool yopu mention and I have already spent over an hour trying to reach the jubilee clip screw with screwdrivers, sockets, crowbars etc without luck. I could have the radiator off in 10 minutes and that's probably I'll do tomorrow.

If you have a jubilee clip with a slotted screw head then I find that a Stanley Screwdriver with its handle wedged into a suitable sized socket (with a bit of paper) on an extension bar works for me.

It has not been unheard of for people to bend back the inner wing in front of the steering rack to gain access to the clip.
