Irish Mini Owners Club

After the success of last years' event, the Eastern Region will host the second annual Wicklow Hillbilly Run on Sunday 25th March 2012.

This run has the start & finish points suitably located for all Eastern Region members.
As with all IMOC events, paid up members from all parts of the country are welcome to participate for free.

Non IMOC members can participate by paying the one day membership fee of €5.

The route promises to deliver plenty of very suitable Mini driving roads with lots of scenery along the way.

Date: Sun 25th March 2012.
Starting Point: Blessington Main Street, Co. Wicklow - meeting up at 10:30am for an 11am departure.
Meeting Point: Market Square beside the Ulster Bank (on the right after Topaz garage approcahing from the Dublin side of the town.)

Blessington is located only 15 miles (30 minutes) from the M50 for anybody coming out from Dublin along the N81.

We will be having a lunch stop along the route where snacks, sandwiches or full meals can be purchased.
Alternatively, for those on a budget, you can bring your sambos and admire the scenery outside the venue!!

The finish point is located close to main routes for those going back home north or south.
Expected finish time of the run is no later than 4pm.

** IMPORTANT **
We have liaised with a lunch stop venue and advised that we will be stopping for lunch.
While we do not need to book tables in advance, they would like some indication of numbers attending in order to be prepared for us arriving.

Blessington, this morning: we had a great turn out, many thanks to Tony Cooney.

Fantastic turn out of 18 cars today including some new club members-hope you enjoyed the first of many IMOC events!

Apologies about the 'missing' bridge on the Blessington Lakes-it was there last week!!!!!

Great to see a local lady in Donard all snap happy and who said she's going to do MTM in her Mini Jet Black

Thanks to the staff of the Glenmalure Lodge for nice food and friendly service in glorious sunshine.
