I was towing the Hornet on my trailer with the Monsoon cover over it yesterday and I couldn't believe it when the damn thing ripped to shreds with the wind ballooning under it. Moral of the story: Only use these covers for static storage and not when you're transporting your Mini.

Yep, paid about 100 for it and Monsoon would be considered a good brand.

Reason for covering the car in transit: it's a convertible and the hood isn't fitted.

I've a storm force one (€270 I think) and the aerial butt ripped through it. Going to have to get some duct tape to try to a temp fix. So just be careful you have nothing major protruding.

I find after about 2 years of outdoor use most covers tear easly.

yes. nice but not fully developed. it needs air-con & dehumidifier system and a security camera & tracker device to be really useful.

i tore mine (voyager) when adjusting it while wet. it "stuck" to the roof and tore near the seam. Duct tape repair lasted 3 weeks till the uv and wet got to it. I'm going to get a patch from a tent repair kit.
