Hi there, I've been a regular visitor to the website but this is my first time posting.

Finally made the plunge last week and bought myself a 1990 mini city. She was owned by a nun from new and is in extremely good condition and 100% original. 48k miles on the clock, and solid as can be. A bit of welding is needed at the bottoms of the doors but that pretty much it. Mechanically she's sound, could possibly do with a good clean of the carb (she's cutting out a lot when idling so hopefully that'll sort that).I'll finish her off with a full respray in the original silvery/grey. Plan is to have her looking like new for MTM 2012.

Looks like a lovely original Mini you have there,best of Mini motoring with it and if you make it to MTM you will have miles of smiles.

Finally going to start work this week. But before I start stripping her down, can anyone tell me if these decals are original? I've been looking on the net and havn't found another mini with the same logo and stripe on it

The script City decal was fitted to standard models from 88 to 92.

Been meaning to update this for a long time, work is progressing slowly but surely! Only a few weeks to MTM2012 so I really need to get the finger out!
