Seam strips
Im putting my mini back together after getting it resprayed and the panel beater never fitted the vertical seam strips on the body. They are painted body colour. Im wondering what people think about leaving them off. The car looks ok without them as the whole lot has been resprayed.Should i put them on or leave them off.

Re: Seam strips
I'd say it's definitely a personal opinion so its up to you.
I feel that the strips add a smoothness in keeping with the rest of the car but that's just me.

Re: Seam strips
it would probably be adviseable to put these back on, as far as I'm aware, those seams are only spot welded together and as such the moisture of the irish climate will have another way to destroy your mini with out them
