What a fantastic original car. It would be a shame to restore that car, it only needs the engine bay cleaned up. What a diamond !

Have to agree, would rather see it original.
Love the engine steady. Notice the oil feed pipe to the filter housing has a different end, like the SPi.
What are the SiM stickers?

my plan glass out re spray brooklands green black roof cooper hubs and discs rc 40 exaust plus lcb new servo miniliyes powder coat everything importent new brake and master cylinders 3 clock dash mota lita mk 4 steering wheel 266 kent cam head work wood and pickett wheel arches under riders any anything else as i go a long there is an argument for keeping it original but i enjoy the challange of a rebuild by the way has anybody got an interior lamp cover i will keep the site up to date when i start my work ps i forgot to mension the aussie clubman stripes shay

Great to see you kept the original Aus colour and W&P arches in body colour are the biz.Looking forward to seeing how the supercharger works out.

Had the pleasure of seeing and working on this car yesterday.Seeing it in the flesh you get to see all the little differences in the aussi minis.One thing that puzzled us was the presence of a reversing switch with Mk2 rear lights. Turns out the rear indicators are twin element like the stop/tail lamp and selecting reverse brings on the both rear indicators constant. This system was unique to aus and new Zealand in the early seventies.
