re:engine paint

hi all,bought high temp paint in halfords today for my engine it was supposed to be red but it turns orangey pink on the engine has anyone else had this problem? any alternetive paint i could use

tractol paint is good for this ya can get it in any place that do tractor parts it even wont burn off the manifold

it is spray,its nearly dyno-rod orange lol

If you are just painting the engine block ordinary enamel spray paint from Halfords would do.Just make sure the engine is de-greased before you apply the paint.

the spray can is more matt red the brush on tin is nice and glossy iv used the 2 of them and the brush on is best
