Question for the Marcos

I know this is going back a few years but do you remember if my GT came with a sunroof or was one fitted to it later?

Ah, get rid of the cobwebs and dust off those old photos. I can't recall you ever talking of getting a sun roof fitted, so i'm guessing that it came with one.

It had one when I bought it alright, just wondering if the previous owner fitted it or whether it had the sun roof when they bought it. I will need to get new glass for it at some stage. Some tea leaf broke into it a few years ago (why they didn't just force the door lock I don't know!) It has had a sheet of perspex filling the hole ever since.

Hi Dave,
The GT had a sunroof when Janet bought the car, but as to wheather or not it was a factory fit or an after thought by a previous owner I couldn't tell you.

Cheers, I reckon it was fitted by a previous owner. I hope to get it back on the road at some stage soon.

I'm sure I have a spare glass out of a sunroof from a mini whats the chance it fits!! If theres a brand on it I'll post.

Pretty sure mine used to say Britax but I could be wrong

Sorry for delay Dave, glass was in my old garage.
Theres no brand but the glass is Triplex and is 342mm x 724mm.
It has four round holes to attach fixings.
Hope it fits.

Cheers Woody. Next time I go to Wicklow I will measure it up, it sounds about the right size.
