Thinking of getting my 1975 clubman estate vinyl wrapped instead of painting.
Looking for advice.

Thanks

I've been thinking about doing that to my project aswell, I think it looks good and if put on by an expert will last a few years but the only problem with a vinyl wrap on a mini is rust if the body has not been prepared properly then a panel starts to rust the vinyl will bubble up and that area will have to be re-wrapped. If the body is in tip top shape and you really want it wrapped I can't see how its a bad idea unless you get this :?

Been thinking the same since I saw them wrap a mini on Wheeler Dealers, it turned out well, but they had a professional do it, and it seemed to cost nearly as much as a respray. The wrap seems to sell pretty cheap on E-bay, but it could be a low quality. There are loads of videos on you tube showing how to put it on, and they make it look simple (as experts always do). I'd be very interested to hear how you get on with this if you do go for it.

A friend of mine has his own business wrapping vehicles and making signs.
It works out alot cheaper than painting, and stress free.
The only problem is when you open the doors you will see the original colour.
Still wondering should i wrap it or not?
at the moment its chocolate brown.

It all depends on what type of vinyl you want to use.
Roughly about 600 euros
