mini drivers wanted

Mini Drivers Wanted!! To drive a small wedding party from brides home (20 mins from city centre) to city centre - in thourgh gates of Trinity College to be exact. (rare opportunity!!)

Hi, theres a club camping weekend on this weekend so you prob wont get many responses until Monday!!
I'd offer mine buts it not on the road at the moment ;(

A word of advice folks.....
Check the wording and conditions of your particular insurance VERY CAREFULLY before taking on any 'hire or reward' driving...

everything is ok until you have a tip and then the you no what hits the fan coonans cab is on the ball with this one shay

As someone who used to run a wedding car service, you cannot legally provide a car for hire without it having a PSV licence, a minimum of 3 doors etc etc etc. If you have a problem on the day, including the bride getting grease from your car or worse still, the dress getting snagged and ripped off some sharp edge on your car, the few quid you get as a foxer won't go very far when your insurance company don't pay up when the bridal couple sue fro ruining their day.
There are plenty of cowboy taxi/limousines out there as it is without proper insurance. You would be in the same class if you took reward from a complete stranger.

Id be interested in this, but I would gladly do it for free, as a wedding favour! (Not for reward, just a complimentary gesture).
What dates, and where from?

I was speaking to Laura last Friday about this and I explained that it would not be right to take money but that if she wanted to give a gift as a token gesture of thanks then that would be ok.If I remember correctly the trip is from Beaumount to Trinity and it is on this Saturday.Her sister has always loved Minis and they had already arranged Minis but they have been left down at the last minute so I told her to put up a post here for helpers.
