if you are using a mig welder get 0.8mm welding with the flux on it,nice and lite for body panels, you can get the wire in some b&q shops or look for a welding supplier near you

Make sure you check your welder first if you do decide to go the flux wire way as some MIG welders don't do gasless.

Ask around the local pubs for a bottle of CO2. It should work almost as well as Argon.

I know Machine Mart in the UK sell the disposable bottles for about £10 for 60ltr, so no rental at all. But I don't know if anyone here sells them.

Thanks guys
I'm using gassless sometimes and gassed othertimes with the small bottles and find gassed gives better welds and is easier but getting through the little bottles too quick
I'm also doing some TIG and a small bottle soon empties!!!
Sounds like its BOC in Castlebar for me.
Thanks for your help

They used to sell u a bottle around 3to 4 foot tall . Then u just return empty and pay for refill .
