1981 Mini 1000

Post by StanO'Toole »

Well heres the new Mini. A man came up to st3 last week, said he had a Mini sitting in his garden at his home in churchtown so his number was passed onto me and the Mini is now sitting outside my house since he told me he wanted 250 euro for it  Now its an understatment to say it needs work but I have seen alot worse. It has a brand new set of 10' Wellers with brand new tyres (There going to a friend of mine who has helped me out plenty of times before anyone else asks!). I don't don't think either have seen the road. Also, just sort of sitting there is a what also apears to be a brand new exhaust! I have even checked to see if there is a brand name on it. And then in the boot was two new spot lights, the original mirrors beside a set of still in the box bullet mirrors, new set of Mini mud flaps and a few other little bits and bobs. The privious owner also has a new set of bumpers for me to

The rear drivers side quarter is in needs of a good bit of work, the two doors have to be replaced along with the boot lid and floor and the the sills, other then that its really just patching up. The front is very clean, and so are the floors. For the money that was payed you couldn't go wrong! Heres the pictures anyway.

Well done Stan,
i'm glad to see you didn't give up after your recent bad luck
it looks like you gone the other way completely
fair play.
Nice little project, i have a full interior and a 2nd set of front seats if you need them.
Is it a coincidence that mini and money start with the same letter? 'cause if you have the first you sure better have lots of the other
