Quite question, how would u know if the car need lead replacement or not? Have 82 leyland mini and chucking a bit, would it be because of this. Any ideas? Guy I bought it off last week wasn't sure as he bought it for his missus a month before and she did a runner with another man. So car was never driven.

Daniel is that wfm1024 number or the 994791p2 number. I felt bad getting the mini cheap off him, not. He was devastated the poor chap.

to be quite honest you're better off using a good lead replacement even if your cylinder head has been converted,
Yes converting the head is meant to safe guard against premature wear but lets face it, unleaded fuel was designed with more modern engines in mind!
Ask any good engine builder and they'll tell you to use it,
Personally i use Millers CVL but thats due to modifications, Millers VSP would be the one for you to go for

its more than likely the 994791p2 is really 99H791 etc.. which makes it a
*99H/791 Mini 1974 onwards with dished piston* that's a leaded engine!
