Irish ice cream van
Hi to all,
I'm looking for more info on ice cream vans, got plenty of pics but few info. One of the pics show an ice cream van on a "Irish Vintage Scene" display. No sure what year the display was, or if the mini's actualy use. Any info is welcome
Will try the Vintage scene themselves later on, but the mini scene proved to be a much better resource in many cases
Bart
p.s. just a quick introduction I'm into mini's since 1993, got a monte carlo LE, 2 pick-ups and a "Schmitt" at this moment = a French, short version of the moke.

Hi Bart,
Welcome to the forum. Was your Schmitt at the IMM?
Those ice creams vans were in Northern Ireland, if I'm not mistaken. I'm sure Tom Heavey, the editor of Irish Vintage Scene will be able to help you out.

These were made in France from 1980 to 1987, production numbers about 500, so not too many about

Re: Irish ice cream van
That would be great, I've got 2 pick-ups allready so no need for the car part, just the top part then.
Are you experienced in this then ?
