Thank you Dave in the mint green mini!

Post by benfox1515 »

Had a brilliant day out at the Mondello Classic Car live today! Was great to get to know some of the people from the club! Thanks Stan for keeping your speed down for me on the way out there!!

To put a bit of a downer to the day, on the way home on the Naas Road, I got a blow out and to top it off, had no jack!! Seen a mini driving by with a IMOC badge on the windscreen and gave a wave. Thank god he pulled over and had a jack. His name was Dave and as he put it "you have to look out for your own".

Thanks again lads,

Ben

PS here is a link to a few photos of the day!

Could be anything, from the carb needing ajustment to it just being tiered! Most of the lads on here would know more then myself

Hi stan! Got the new tyres on today and for an extra 20€ got the carb cleaned out and some of the values needed a bit of a tweak. Running alot better now!! When I took it out on the naas road I got her up to about 65mph and pulled out the choke a bit and she kept on going(as suggested by Martin)! So just need to adjust the amount of petrol going into the carb.
