Just to let ye know, have one mini on vintage insurance and now hoping to buy another, but just onto first Ireland insurance, was really surprised. Thought would be same for second car, €300 but no u get 70% off with second car, so only 45 till February next year. Thought I'd share cause I thought it was great value :-)

and any fully licensed driver over 28 with his/her own policy is free to be added and two or more cars on the policy can be driven at the same time.

To add to that; First Ireland insured my 95 Spi as a classic for €285 for a limited milage policy - not a bad deal if your pride and joy is not your daily driver

i insured my 1981 Mini Hl with Axa, been with them for 4 years with the classic insurance. Was €260 fully comp, limited to 5000 miles, if i wanted a second mini on it, would only cost an extra €50!

Im with AXA (1990) and im 21 on a provisional licence. full policy in my own name.
now its a little over €2,000 a year and that's with their "drive safe" gps tracking and driving montior so its not cheap but it is available.

JP, not sure if we currently are but definitely up to recently we were affiliated to the IVVCC, Ireland's umbrella vintage car club.

Not sure. Each company could be different. I think it's 21 on some insurance companies on a car over 20 years old but I could be wrong

I will be 21 on tuesday and my insurance is up on the 5th of april. I drive a 91 civic. Is there any company that would give me a classic policy? Just wondering because I never thought it would be possible to be honest. It would be great.
