Hey all,
My Mini has recently crossed over 60,000 miles on the clock and am wondering what parts should be looked at or replaced at this milestone (or before)?
Car drives well but I know the cones and dampers need replacing. Apart from them what else would you think might need doing? Should I get the knuckle joints changed at the same time? It has already had a new uprated exhaust recently. Old one rotted to pieces.
Thanks,
Jason.

Re: 60K+ miles: what work should be done?
flush cooling system and replace coolant
replace brake & clutch fluid
steam clean and examine underbody - repair as needed, freshen underseal.
*more* rustproofing in doors, sills, rear pockets, rear valance and front scuttle.
no harm giving the grease points a bit of a squirt either, although i do mine every 6 months
open every electrical connector you can find and squirt a little spray-oil in there....
treat the body to a good wash & wax - use a rubber lubricant on window, door and boot lit rubbers
im sure there will be other great suggestions, but that's what comes to mind. no prizes for spotting that bodywork is king!

Signature still awaiting top-coat and lacquer....

Cheers for that Keith.
Hey there Maxi!
My Mini has been a bit ignored for past year or two. Though I still drive it everyday. Time to get it sorted (& NCT'd)!!
