tempreture gauge for center clock

hi i bought a 3 clock center clock off woody and started fitting it yesterday i have speedo working oil prsssure working and all the lights on all 3instruments ,how do i get the temp gauge wired up my car is an 83 leyland and has never had one fitted ,i have a sender orderd .i checked my dads hornet and he has a blue wire in the loom that connects to the sender any help greatly appreciated

the temp gauge feeds from the voltage stabiliser (64 below), through the instrument (46), to the sender (47), then to earth.

What keith said. The voltage regulator has a double terminal ,one for the fuel gauge and one for the tempiture gauge. What Austin did when fitting the oil pressure gauge was to then use the wire for the oil warning light to feed the tempiture gauge instead.
