What part is this?

I found a rust hole in the panel under the scuttle panel, is this part of the scuttle panel itself or is it another part?

Hi Daveq,

ya this is a seperate panel that go's under the corner of the scuttle. i have a them in stock if you need one.
Below is a pic to give you a rough idea of the shape/size.

@minis24se7en Thanks, whats the story with fitting it? Do I need to remove the scuttle or something else? Ill get back to you about ordering one after i see what the other side is like!!

Daveq, No need to remove the scuttle, It'l fit up under it.
There is a lip on the two straight edges of the new gusset panel that are spot welded to the inner wing, and again to the rear just above where the hole is for the vent, and then along the curve of the scuttle panel to the front.

When you remove it have a look to see if there is much or any corrosion on the underside of the scuttle. Once this gusset panel goes the scuttle is next. Rusting generally starts from the inside out.
