Anyone passing Fermoy is welcome to a cuppa in Ballyhooly on the way down. Mustard knows the way.

I am heading from Maynooth at 9.30 (after the school drop) and will be taking the N7 down. As its a 850cc I'll only be 55/60mph so give me a beep when passing. Billy no need to put the kettle, I reckon I 'll have enough of brown boiling water by the time I get to Fermoy.

Definitely if you do 55/60mph in Daisy all the way down. Keep it at a steady 50 and you'll be fine. Won't guarantee there'll be any choccy bikkies left by the time you get down though.

I"ll be leaving around the same time as i"m walking down i hope i d'ont overtake you. Give us a bell and if we join forces we could travel down at 50+50mph, giving us 100mph. This would have us down in no time.

from Dublin, google would suggest 5 hours but IMHO thats very optimistic,

so add at least two more for food & minis, so for a 7pm sign in, leaving not later than 11.55 am.

The map i linked is from M50/N7 jct.

Best to be gone out of Dublin by 10am in order to take your time going down, allow for stops en route and to avoid Friday afternoon traffic around Cork city etc.

Also, as Keith mentions, Minis need to be driven at a certain pace to make sure they don't get annoyed and overheat etc!!

Just wondering what time to see minis in Cork City.
Last year we had a gathering at the Viaduct Inn bar and restaurant on the Bandon Rd . this is just 1/4 mile on left on the N71 after Bandon Rd roundabout. This is just outside cork city.

This is where the southern region would have there meetings.
Good spot for food and plenty parking.
Some of the southern branch were hoping to meet there and convoy down.
