What are "hi-los"?

I see them mentioned in postings but don't know what they are or what they do? Cheers

They allow you to change the ride height of the car. You can lower the car or raise it up. If you want to lower the car by a good bit, then lowered shock absorbers are needed aswell.

The seat for the spring (rubber cone) is fixed on a standard suspension but the Hi Los have a screw thread adjustment for the spring seat. This means you can dial in the ride height you want. More importantly, you can set the car up with equal weights side-to-side for optimum handling and braking.

What are "hi-los"?
