I have bough a mini a 1968 morris mini the rest we don't know as there log book but i do know it was of the road in 1978 till now
The story so far with the help of my brother and his best mate we went to pick up the mini with his van but i have to say i kinda of mess up this bit as i hadn't got a car transporter got so i wasted there day
but they made me pay by getting me to drive up to my dads caravan in cavan in the middle of the night just to get his A frame any way the next day me and brother picked up the car and he drove back in the fog i have to say thanks to him for that as it wasn't safe but we got back safely but he was pissed cause he left the car in the middle of the drive way and disapered for a few day
but he and his mate moved the car to the shed one day for me and then took the engine out and then left it in the middle of the floor where it as stayed. The car is now stripped down and a wing as been cut of as my dad came down with the carvan and showed me how to do body work.
Ok now to the car its a 1968 Morris Mini as far as i know its a super deluxe it irish reg and came from Dublin originaly
I'll up load pictures when my brother shows me how to as i have no clue about computers as I am more a dvd man
So so far my Brother and his mate are going to do the welding and body work my dad is going to rebulid the engine and spary the car and i'm going to put it all back together this is where it will drag out for every

Ur very welcome to the forum, fantastic looking project, what part of the west are u from there are a large number of members in the west, most of which have restored minis, so there s no shortage of help.
Very interesting car, have a look for small shamrocks etched into the glass of the car, and a little badge under the bonnet, it might be an irish built car aswell as irish registered, very rare

Good piece of advice mate just after having a quick look under the bonnet and after noticing a plate on the slam panell saying built in dublin is this good or a bad thing as an irish man might have built this with with the help of arthur guinness
I am located at the far side of ennis Co Clare.

You will need a puller, they can take a lot of pressure to pull them off . Make sure you take the washer out before you pull it
