Indicators problem - MPI

Post by F@ces »

Hi folks,

Wondering can someone help me. A bit of condensation gets into my right indicator lens regularly - so I'm constantly cleaning it out. Anyway, yesterday that indicator stopped working for a while, but came back in the evening. So this morning I decided to check it. The bulb was fine, but when I took it out metal from behind it (the "spring") fell out. It's very corroded - so I'll need to get my hands on a new one. So I could live with that until I get a new one as the rear and side ones would still flash. However when I put it back together and tried my indicators - none work! All indicators are gone, including the hazards. Strangely, I decided to try the alarm (which triggers the hazards when it's set), and that works (with the obv exception of the front right one) :?

I've checked all the fuses - but there doesn't seem to be a dedicated one for indicators, and anyway, why would the alarm flash them? Can't understand how all my indicators are now gone! :?

Any help greatly appreciated!

Hi it's sounds like a fuse. The alarm gives power straight to the bulbs and bypass fuses and relays.

Where are you based
