Positive phone call from the blaster. "Not that rusty at all!" He'll be etch priming it for me and I should be able to collect it tomorrow evening or Saturday.
Can't wait. 28 weeks to the IMM.

Half-knackered old twin-axle transporter swapped for bits with Johnny Murphy (thanks Johnny). Replacement single-axle transporter with knackered tyres swapped for bits with KMG (thanks KMG).
Early morning start on Saturday morning with Eamospud.

No progress this side of 2012 as it's in a queue at the panelbeater's. Will be ordering some bits after Christmas. I spoke to my friend in Galway yesterday who gave me the car and he couldn't believe that I intended to bring it to Italy next May. Mind you, there are plenty on this forum who probably think the same, and they could be right but you need a deadline.
