Irish Mini Owners Club

To help kick things off for 2011, I am proposing a few dates for runs and shows that the SR should organise or take part in. While it's great that we are welcome at other club's events, we need to have more of our own runs around Munster but that is dependent on people getting off the fence and offering to put together a run. It's not rocket science but it usually gets left to the same few members to do it.

We can add different dates as the year progresses.

Feel free to volunteer to organise getting a crowd out for any of the following events:

February 6th: IMOC AGM, Moate
February 20th: Charleville Vintage Club Charity Run
March 17th: Mallow St. Patrick's Day Parade
April 10th: Charleville Vintage Club Spring Run
April 17th: SR Run to Kilgarvan Motor Museum
May 6-8th: IMOC Mizen To Malin 2011
May 15th: Dungarvan Vintage Charity Run
May 29th: TBC
June 10-12: International Mini Meeting 2011, Switzerland
June 19th: SR run to Mondello Classic Car Live
June 26th: Charleville Vintage Show
July 17th: SR Limerick/Clare Run
August: SR @ IMOC Mini Weekend
September 25th: SR Treasure Hunt
October 23rd: SR Economy Run
December 3rd: Kerry Classic Run

Good to see a plan for the year and dates to pencil in to Diary.
Plenty of time to get permission From the real Boss to join in the Fun.
And who knows might even find time to lend a hand in preparations for some Runs if that is required.

The AGM is on Feb 6th. We should make an effort to have a decent SR attendance. No doubt a few of us could go up in one car.

I would hope to run the economy earlyish in the year so that each region can have one done and the best of the cars to compete in an All-Ireland run in the Midlands towards the tailend of the year.

The Southern Region has been invited to put on a display of Minis at the Limerick Vintage Club's annual show on Sunday May 29th. The Limerick Club are keen to have several one-make clubs on display.

More details as they come to hand.
