IMOC New Years Lunch - Sunday January 9th - Clonsilla Inn

Post by Billy »

The annual Irish Mini Owners Club New Years Lunch will take place again on Sunday the 9th of January 2011 from 12.30pm in the Clonsilla Inn, Dublin 15.

The New Years Lunch is an informal get-together for members and their families to catch up after the Christmas. There will be a table quiz and a raffle after lunch.

Entry as always is free and all club members from around the country are welcome. If anyone is planning a convoy from the South, West, or Southeast, post up details here. Minis are optional.

The table quiz questions are set with a mixture of film, music, the year that was, politics, sport, and Christmas categories. There's even a few Mini-related questions. Nothing too obscure but definitely a few headscratchers.

KMG has the raffle tickets and if anyone would like to donate any unwanted Christmas presents for the raffle, they'll be very welcome. The dafter, the better.

I've got the Italian job poster, signed by Paddy Hopkirk for the raffle, also Paddy threw in a copy of his autobiography signed "To the winner, IMOC, Best Wishes Paddy Hopkirk" which he asked me to pass on. I'll bring them along on the day. Looking forward to finally meeting people

Good turn out today and a very enjoyable event.

Congrats to the usual suspects for winning for a third year in a row, but nice to see the chasing pack is closing in on them.

Thanks to Billy for setting the questions, and to Aidan for organising the raffle.

Well done lads.
Great start to the year for the IMOC.
