Now I know I have been saying it for a sometime now but my car is now up on stands and off the road for its long awaited rebuild .

I did overhaul the front calipers
,

Then I changed them for KAD four pots with vented turned down disc's

I wanted these to fit under ten inch wheels (if I ever get the wheel nuts

) To that end I may sell on my 12,s at some point .

I was also going to fit a twin exit stainless w/p exhaust

But I dont think it will suit the look I am after ? so I may push that on to .The engine will be a 1380 I have a fresh block , performance head ect .
This will all take some time , so I will keep this thread updated as I go

Well the plan was to keep my hot 998(yellow) rebuild the 1275 (red) and run the 1380(blue) I have two spare 998 blocks . I am having to rethink that plan due to costs

I plan to have a big clearout soon .

I have a complete 998 engine if you are still stuck for a motor .

Did plan to go to the AGM today but sick kids got in the way

So when they went off to sleep , off I went to the workshop

and hauled out the rear frame .

Then I cleaned up a few bits ready for painting . Still not sure on the exhaust the Maniflow

or the W amp P twin exit stainless

I will start to strip the body next .

Not much to report on the rebuild this week , but did get the tyres mounted on the wheels .

Stuck then under the car to see what they will look like .

S
Stripped the front frame and picked up some paint ,thats about it

Ooh ! did a little work on the new dash

But that now a bit of a long term project as funds allow .
