Progress was slow enough over the summer but i got all the interior out and stripped the exterior as well. But about a month ago,a friend of mine whos also a member and Mini fan suggested that we take it to his friends garage to get bodywork sorted.thats about as far as i have got with it so far.hope you like it!
it would be great if anyone could offer me some advice or any suggestions for the car as im not sure what i want it too look like.thanks

That car looks very familiar. It didn't have a Tasmanian devil airfreshner it it when you bought it? And a green center on the steering wheel?? If it's the one I'm thinking of the original white bonnet had sliver stripes on left and right side.

like this?
I love white minis. I was going to buy one after the cooper was written off..
I would have painted the roof black, the bonnet white with no stripes, 4 spots at the front, silver trim.. maybe a mk1 grill....yum

Stick a request in the wanted section. Someone should have a set lying around. You'll need to get hold of a Cone Compressor Tool to fit them.
When you are fitting them you should consider fitting a new set of knuckle joints.

You may want to think about the shocks if you intend to lower the car that much . They only have so much travel in them .
