Hi

Not sure where you post hellos here, so feel free to move it, Shay who has the Red ERA said I should join, I sold it to him a couple of years ago, I have another couple myself including a Black Japanese Spec one and one of the last UK spec ones you can see my black one on the front page of www.eraturbo.co.uk Paul Kelly and Shay have suggested on a number of occasions that I come over and try and get to a couple of shows and this is the best place to know about them, also would love to see pics of Shay's at the show that he won.

I worked in Dublin for about 6 years so know my way around a little.

Paul

Hi Paul and welcome to the forum.Shay has his ERA looking lovely and there is a picture of it in this months Irish Vintage Scene which was taken at Trim.Thats the show where he won car of the show but it really should be car and a half of the show.If you are thinking of coming over then MTM next May or the camping weekend in August are two good events to try and make.

I know he was telling me about the trailer yesterday. Any pictures about of it? there is a tiny one in a mag I got here but only postage stamp sized.

MTM would be great but my ERA runs with about inch and half ground clearance at the front as it still has the japanese numberplate box on the front, unless I bring her up a good bit, so might be a bit low for some of the roads.

J666ERA sounds familiar to me. Did I see your car in a line of era's outside bingley hall in the snow?

Yeah it does look familiar. Have you had it at mini in the park? I've been there the last 3 days.

Hi

Has been at MITP 4 or 5 years, not this year been sat in corner of workshop over a year now just didnt get it out to play this year at all, well apart from a couple of blasts with the trade plates on. ;) At MITP would have been with Mini Bandits and RSP Cooper Register and Inno Coopers.

Hi Woody remember it well. Yes Rogers RSP, we went up with Roger, (Chas, Tim, Foster Charlton, Pete, Andy - AKA the Inno Boys) and Kay from Miniworld. Great long distance mini run, met up with a mate of Fosters overnighting at Newcastle who had a Mk1 S low mileage Barn find which had been lightly restored and first trip out. Very memorable not allowed to say racing so err time trialling ;) after the Forth Road Bridge a RSP S a MK 1 S and an ERA playing not a sight you see everyday smiles all arround though.
